Chapter 249 Returning Grudges

Eloise flew from her room, approaching Aaron and asking about the man\'s condition. Aaron smiled. For some reason, his body felt fit and healthy, his physical endurance had been tempered to the true peak level.

"How is Emily?" Aaron asked.

"It\'s been a year since she suffered from the curse again. I\'m really grateful to you for helping Emily," Eloise replied.

\'A year? So, I\'ve been unconscious for that long?" asked Aaron.

\'I don\'t know what the conditions are upstairs,\' Aaron replied.

Max\'s figure had vanished in Aaron\'s hands, dead in a miserable way. With this situation, the 50th Night Liberators couldn\'t let Aaron go easily.

Aaron clenched his hands into fists, creating his own magic fluctuations in his hands. His ability that had reached Integrity Knight made it easy for the man to bring up magic fluctuations at will.

"Thank goodness that Emily is fine. I won\'t take the ring of darkness anymore, let it be completely in the girl\'s hands," Aaron explained.

Eloise smiled; she was really grateful for Aaron\'s generosity. She promised she would be of great help to the Shadow Ruler, no matter what.

With Aaron\'s mage tier increase, the mage tier of Lewis and Arthur indirectly increased from Great Wizards to Venerable Sage.

That made Aaron\'s two clones completely powerful and unrivaled up to the 50th floor.

He turned around, meeting Aerith. The woman directly vented her happiness to Aaron; she hugged the man\'s body tightly as if reluctant to let him go.

"I\'m glad you\'re awake, Aaron," Aerith replied.

"I\'m sorry that I\'ve made you worry."

Aerith shook her head. Aaron didn\'t need to apologize as all of this was a risk the man had to take to recover Emily\'s condition.

Aaron felt relieved; he was lucky to have Aerith beside him. If not, he might walk aimlessly in this world without anyone accompanying him.

Eloise saw their closeness; it was impossible for her to take Aerith\'s place from Aaron\'s heart. The woman could be heard sighing softly, then stepping towards them.

"You are honored guests of the 25th Sky Sword. You are free to stay here as you wish," Eloise explained.

Aaron and Aerith released each other\'s embrace. Aaron nodded. He needed to prepare optimally to continue his mission again, exploring floors higher than the 50th floor.

Eloise\'s offer was well received by Aaron and Aerith. Eloise said goodbye; she needed to report this incident to Great Elder Eve and Great Elder Lilith.@@novelbin@@

The man nodded. He invited Aerith to return to their lodging house, spending the night talking about many things.

Aaron needed to know what had happened in the year he had been unconscious. There could be information or other things that were important to him.

Aerith was happy to share everything that happened, including the arrival of Great Elder Eve and Elder Kang from the 50th floor to the 25th Sky Sword.

They spent the night telling stories, and the situation became more conducive.

Three days later.

Sky Sword 25th HQ.

Lilith City.

"We need to maintain the supply of items in the Sky Sword district. If necessary, buy all the items sold in the Night Liberators district. They won\'t mind," Eloise replied.

"Do we need to do it on behalf of Sky Sword, or can we use a third party?" asked Aldo.

"Use a third party. We can\'t buy the item on behalf of Sky Sword 25th," Eloise explained.

Aldo nodded in understanding; he knew what he had to do. The man said goodbye to Eloise and walked away, leaving Eloise with Emily in the throne hall of Sky Sword 25th.

Since Max\'s death, the 25th Night Liberators had lost their way. They were like children who had lost their parents, finding it difficult to get organized about what they were going to do.

It had an impact on the economy. The Night Liberators District was in chaos; many merchants were withdrawing their goods

The momentum was fully used by Sky Sword and Dimension Justice to buy the price of their goods, which were at their cheapest.

Competition ensued between Eloise and Jovanni. They will try their best to fulfill the supply of items at the merchants in their district, one of which is buying merchant items from the Night Liberators district.

When Eloise was responding to some discussions with the merchants, she was startled by a powerful magic boom in the place. The boom sent out a powerful wave of magic that even Eloise could hardly match.

At first, Eloise thought the boom was coming from Aaron. But after hearing the shouting from outside, Eloise could confirm it wasn\'t Aaron.

She said goodbye and flew away from the Sky Sword 25th HQ. Not only her but also Emily and Aldo did the same.

There, they witnessed three people in Night Liberators uniforms flying without using any assistance. Eloise could guess their strength; they were the Venerable Sage from the 50th floor.

"Are you Eloise?" asked the male Venerable Sage, Eloise cleared her throat in agreement.

"Max died in your HQ; you must take responsibility for his death!" said the man.

He directed the scorching flames forward to destroy the walls of the Sky Sword 25th HQ. The entire group, including Eloise, worked together to defend the base.

"It was an accident. Let us explain it to you!" insisted Eloise.

The presence of the three Venerable Sage men was not without reason. Max was the leader of the 25th Night Liberators, as well as their confidant. Hearing that Max died at the hands of the 25th Sky Sword certainly made them furious.

According to the Night Liberators \' rules, they were determined to arrest Eloise and punish the woman\'s deeds with appropriate punishment.

Sure enough! Eloise and the others could not withstand the power of the three Venerable Sages who attacked the HQ.

The HQ\'s protective wall cracked, creating worry in the hearts of the other members.

"Your magic wall is no match for our skills!" the man snapped.

Aaron\'s figure appeared in front of Eloise in a flash of purple light while swinging a hand to the side, sending a scythe of purple light crashing down on the three venerable sages.

The three men were pushed far enough away to cause a dimensional tear in the city sky. Aaron appeared above the sky of Sky Sword 25th, accompanied by Aerith.

"Who the hell are you?!" snapped one of the men.

How surprised they were to see that the man who attacked them had a magic majesty ornament behind his back, a sign that he had reached the Integrity Knight mage tier.

"What? An Integrity Knight?!" she was shocked.

"No one can threaten the Sky Sword," Aaron explained firmly.

"Did you kill Max?!" snapped the venerable sage, curious.

"Max had been holding a grudge against me for months. We did fight, but he died of his own weakness," Aaron explained.

"YOU!" the man shouted, charging forward again.

In an instant, Aaron stepped his foot forward, flying accompanied by a large dimensional tear capable of shocking many people, including Eloise.

Aaron was right between the three of them. With his physical endurance, he punched and kicked the bodies of the three venerable sage men, making the three fall quickly from the sky and hit the ground.

"Damn it! He\'s as strong as the President of the Night Liberators," complained the man, clutching his bruised stomach.

"What do you want?" the man asked Aaron.

"Leave Sky Sword out of your problems. I killed Max."

"My name is Aaron. Aaron Lewis!"
